It’s a secular world in which we live,
Little time to God we give.
God, do your thing, let us do ours
That’s the way we want to live.





Oh yes, when the world is going our way,
And we’re sitting on top of things,
We have the material things of life,
What else could God then bring?





But what about when disaster strikes?
And pestilence fills the earth,
When hurricanes and tornados strike
It’s then we feel God’s worth.





In all the time Man’s been on earth,
Why does he never learn
We’d be prepared for better or worse
If daily to God we would turn.





We need to seek the presence of God
And for His guidance ask
Then we would be prepared to face
Each obstacle and each task.
