A Christian and and atheist
were chatting in the park;
the sun was setting in the west,
the sky was growing dark.

They were engrossed in verbal jousts
well on into the night,
each emphasizing his own points
to prove that he was right.

"You Christians get two dates for your
religious recognition.
We athiests do not get one.
It's pure discrimination."

"You celebrate your Easter
and December twenty fifth,
both of which are nothing more
than ballyhoo and myth."

"Oh yes, the Christian then agreed,
"I think it would be nice
for you to have a special date.
Would April First suffice?"
