You may laugh at the
things that I believe.
Having boundless hope
you cannot perceive.

You can persecute me,
but I will not break.
Through Jesus,
I have unconquerable faith.

You can throw me into a furnace
with my friends,
Or cast me,
lonely into a lion's den.

My God is faithful;
He cannot fail.
Listen to the testimony
that I tell.

You can punch me in the mouth
just as hard as you can.
I'll still be witnessing,
toothless, to my fellow man.

You can hang me by my neck
or cut off my head,
But I'll be singing in Heaven
when you think I'm dead.

You can condemn me to death
with big jagged stones,
Or beat me with a whip
until you see my bones.

I will not doubt Him,
no, not once.
"Father, forgive them,"
my only response.

You can tax every cent
or rob me like a thief,
But you can't stop my prosperity
or my increase.

I have more than enough
for others and myself,
Advancing the Kingdom
with all of my wealth.

It may seem to you
that I am sick unto death,
But Jesus bore it all
on the day He left.

No funeral arrangements
or calling my next of kin,
I will rise up jumping,
shouting, and praising Him.

And when storms come suddenly,
and surely they will,
I will speak in faith,
"peace be still".

And if I am dashed
upon a lost shore,
I will proclaim His goodness
forever more.

So don't be confused
by my great big smile,
Because I have peace
and joy through trials.

The seas can rise,
and the earth can quake,
But I will still have
my unconquerable faith!
