The earth moves about on its axis,
Like a giant spit evenly turning,
Receiving just enough light from the sun
To sustain all of life without burning

The sun provides for the water we drink
And the food for our bodies to grow.
Preciseness of time must be perfect
For maintaining life's smooth, even flow.

With just enough oxygen, water and food
To insure that all life is sustained,
What mastermind guides and controls correct timing
To keep the earth's orbit maintained?

The skeptics proclaim there is no mastermind,
And there being no 'proof', they infer
That all of life's miracles at random have happened,
But how could such things thus occur?

Any planless theory I cannot accept.
It's an asinine answer for me.
I'm compelled to believe in the old fashioned way.
Only God's hand could cause this to be.
