I'm not looking to win anyone over
I'm simply defending the truth
I have been exposed to lies
Ever since my youth





Now that I'm with Jesus
The truth is known to me
When I share the truth with others
They just don't agree





When I hear lies around me
I just want to flee
But the Jesus in me
Makes me want others to see





I'm not out to please the world
It's Jesus I care about
He's number one in my life
I guess you could call me devout
