I have a story
I'd like to tell
About two young ducks
That I know so well

The oldest named "frick"
The youngest named "frack"
They stuck close together
Covering each other's back

Then when the bad ducks came
And scared them away
They were separated
This was a bad day

They searched for each other
For weeks on end
They looked everywhere
They missed their best friend

I remember one night
It was the saddest thing to see
Little frack was quacking
As loud as she could be

She missed her big sister
Who was always at her side
Now she's all alone
With nowhere to go or hide

Did the hunters get her
Her sister she does not see
As she looks around
She wonders where she could be

Then I prayed to Jesus
Our Lord from Heaven above
Please reunite these two
Who for each other have so much love

The very next day
I saw them together
Happy were they
Like birds of a feather

Now they rejoice
Little frick and frack
Together they roam
Going quack quack quack
