After the snowbirds arrive
You know what that means
Six months of frustration
With no breaks in between

They come on the planes
With their many luggage bags
Or in their fancy cars
With their out of state tags

The stores will fill with people
And the prices will climb
We will be stuck for hours
In the check out line

The traffic on the road
Will be fender to fender
And every few miles
There will be a fender bender

We will have to wait for
Spring to come then
For all the snowbirds to
Head back North again
