What ever in this day
can a grandmother know?
She's older than sin
and her memory is slow.

What does she know about
problems you have,
with her old fashion ways
she just might get mad.

Yes, you know she's real nice
and she loves you a lot.
But in terms of my life problems,
what has she got?

But listen up, my dear one
to your Grandmothers words,
her experience in this life --
you she can serve.

She's just a little wiser
now that is a fact,
and all of her values
they still are intact.

Life's problems have dealt
her problems as well.
But on our problems
we must never dwell.

Experience in life,
added lines to her face.
That's how she knows
what it's like in your place.

So talk to your Grandma
she understands well.
Maybe she can help
you make things gel.

She's got lots of love
and counsel to give.
You can be sure she will love you
as long as you live.

I Love You Dear One,
I'm here for you!
