Here I was awakened,
As dawn was peeking in.
Wishing I could have stayed,
In the dream that I was in.

Awakened from the night,
A dream my heart will store.
Again to here you calling me,
Whispering me to the shore.

Reminiscing through the day,
In sunlight biding my time.
For soon your voice will call,
Your hand will touch with mine.

Allowing the tides to sweep in,
Waters edge lapping my feet.
Upon soft beds of white sand,
Neath moon and stars we meet.

Your arms reach around me,
Amongst a newly shaped dune.
Passionate love to last all night,
With the backdrop of the moon.
