From beginning of time, Man's search for God
Has been externally sought.
From the ocean to the mountain top,
Man seeks what God has wrought.
Man longs for the lasting peace of God
That protects from evil and sin.
The peace that all understanding has passed
Is internal, it's found within.
It's there, within our hearts and soul.
No cause to look afar.
It blends with our total entity,
Crucial part of what we are.
And through this peace, we've access to God
He has said, "Just ask, you'll receive."
The internal power provides strength to cope
If in God we will truly believe.
