I have this little doggie
She's as cute as she can be
And everywhere I tend to go
She’s sure to follow me

When she thinks it’s time to eat
She runs around my heels
Watching every move I make
Until she gets her meals

She loves to chew up everything
Knowing full well she’s bad
Then when I scold her
She looks so dog gone sad

Her toys she loves to play with
And these she has so many
To make her real happy
I see that she has plenty

At night she waits eagerly
For me to go to bed
Then jumping up to join me
She snuggles by my head

Sometimes at night she gets cold
So she tunnels down the sheets
Until she finds that perfect spot
And that’s usually by my feet

She wakes me up each morning
With licks upon my face
Then bounces merrily off the bed
And scurries around the place

The look she gives me tells me
Her love for me is true
She fills my heart completely
And never do I feel blue
