Whenever I sense the pulse of pounding waves,
The sea becomes a magnet drawing me.
Whenever I feel the breath of ocean breeze,
A force then strongly lures me back to sea.
The roar of breaking waves on rock and sand.
The swish of water sucked back to the sea.
The briny smell of scattered spray and spume.
The fresh and dampened air envelops me.

I formed a mighty fortress in the sand,
A castle to withstand the ocean swell.
But every time twas always as before,
The tide moved in, and then my fortress fell.
But yet again the mighty ocean calls.
Me to return and castles build once more.
