We've raised ourselves a family,
and fulfilled so many dreams.
Now that we are getting older,
we wonder what our lives mean.



It means we have grown much,
along the path of life.
We've given what we could,
and learned to handle strife.



Yes, we've had a few problems,
as most couples have.
But you know as I do,
our life together isn't bad.



There still are things we have to learn,
in the coming years.
Yes, there will be more laughter,
and also a few tears.



And if we had to do it over,
we would change a thing or two.
But the knot that binds our life,
would remain between me and you.
