Americans want peace like everyone
But we must keep the terrorists on the run
To live in fear is not our thing
We must make sure that freedom rings

They have killed our people with much glee
Hating the fact that we live free
Fear and hate is their way
To reach their goal many people pay

They use religion as their excuse
Twisting and turning it to their use
Evil are they down to the core
Better for all when they are no more

They burn our flags and shout their hate
We must pursue them, before it’s too late
It doesn't end with Afghanistan
Their evil throughout the world does span

Enduring we must be in our pursuits
Reaching deep into their very roots
Then and only then will peace prevail
In this our goal we must not fail
