The first thing I do
To start out my day
Is head for my e-mail
To see what you will say





I look through it carefully
My heart beating fast
If it keeps doing this
Surely it won't last





And then I see it
Your name up there
Suddenly it leaves me
All that despair





I read each word carefully
All that you say
I'll tell you honestly
My mind doesn't stray





I love the feelings I get
When I open your e-mail
If I were a dog
I'd be wagging my tail
