I often seek the solitude
Of the ocean bed
Drinking in the sounds
That the waves have said

Peacefully I listen to all of
The wonderful tales
That the waves bring to me
As the wind sails

Peace and harmony go in hand
As I hear my story
Many wishes have been fulfilled
And others have found glory

Fishermen with hulls full of fish
Months they have been gone
Many of them saying that
They’ve heard the mermaid song

Explorers’ seeking distant lands
Filled with jewels and gold
Many also have found their love
In these lands of old

The ocean is a wealth of knowledge
Filling your body with wonder
Even if you fall asleep
You’ll hear it in your slumber
